‘Ace Transfers and Tours’ was established in 2005 and based in Pretoria Gauteng.
From inception it was completely dedicated to excellent customer service. Our
specialty is providing you with a unique reliable and personalised professional
service that caters for your needs and that you can depend on. Our aim is not
only to make your journey comfortable and pleasant, but memorable and that you
will leave as a friend.
Our services also extend in taking care of transport requirements for children
to-and-from school and extra-mural activities. “Ace Kids Transport” will assist
in ensuring the best for your children while you continue your careers for the
family’s benefit. We will also assist you in optimizing the time you spend at
home, work or gym, eliminating being stuck in traffic whilst transporting
children with busy schedules.
The safety of your children is our utmost priority and our prices are
competitive and reflective of the excellence in service provided.
All our drivers have the appropriate accreditation (Public Drivers Permits –
PDP’s) and all our vehicles have the appropriate road permits and roadworthy
certificates. Vehicles are serviced regularly and a full service history is
available. ‘Ace Kids Transport’ has full Passenger Liability Insurance for the
safety of our clients.

Safety
Safety is a major concern and these are the steps that will be taken to ensure
children are secure during transit.

We insist that seatbelts are worn at all times; babies are secured in car
seats.

The schedule is put together so that our drivers never need to overload
vehicles, to ensure there is ample time to get from one transfer to the next and don’t have children in the vehicles for hours at a time.

Confirmation messages will be send when collection or drop off has taken place
via selected method of communication, i.e. sms, bbm, e-mail.

At the destination address we will ensure that the correct person will receive
the child(ren) if it’s the agreement or until they are securely in the premises.

Fees / Rates
A non-refundable administration fee of R100-00 is payable on all signed
applications.
Permanent Contracts (minimum 2 months)
This option is suitable for families who have a fixed schedule for their
children and require a driver for a specific number of hours each day, week and
month, i.e. driving the children to and from school every day and driving the
children to specific extra mural activities during the week.
A monthly service fee of R450-00, an hourly driver fee of R40-00/hour or part
thereof and a R3-50 rate per kilometer will apply. These rates exclude Toll
tariffs and will it be added should it be necessary to use such roads to reach
the required destination.
For example 1: You need transport for your child from home to school in the
mornings and afternoons and the distance one way is 10km for an average of 22
working days.

* The driver fee has been calculated on 2 hours as the activity lasts for
an hour and will it take the driver therefore more than an hour to transfer
the child from collection to final destination
** Should example 1 also apply the kilometers will be adjusted accordingly
taking into account those already accounted for. The monthly fee will also
fall away as only one monthly fee is applicable
Rate per km dependent on petrol price and may change without prior notice.
Please note that all families that have a permanent contract, but need
temporary assistance in the event of an emergency, will be exempt from
paying an additional service fee.
Temporary Contracts
This option is suitable for families that require an ad hoc driver as and
when the need arises and/or who do not have a fixed schedule of activities
for their child.
A weekly service fee according to a sliding scale, an hourly driver fee of
R40-00/hour or part thereof and a R3-50 rate per kilometer will apply. These
rates exclude Toll tariffs and will it be added should it be necessary to
use such roads to reach the required destination.

PLEASE NOTE

All rates are calculated per hour driven. A
10% surcharge on the total cost will apply for each child sharing to the
maximum of 3 children from the same collection and drop off point. New
destinations will result in new charges.

Kilometres travelled are calculated from
the pick up point to drop off point.

The first pick up point for the day is
calculated as an hour and second pick up point is calculated per minute
till drop off.
Payment Conditions and Banking
Details

Ace Kids Transport will provide an invoice in the beginning of the month
in respect of the fees due.

All payments must be received by the 3rd of the month and are paid monthly
in advance.

The monthly payment must be made at the beginning of each month in which
the services are required.

Permanent contract holders to pay 1 month’s service fee as deposit which
will be added on the first invoice.

The first payment must be made in full before the driving commences. No
driver will commence work until full payment has been received and all
necessary documentation has been provided.

Permanent contract holders to provide at least 20 working days written
notice to terminate the service. Failure will result in forfeiting the
initial service fee deposit.

The service fee deposit for permanent contract holders will be refunded
within 2 weeks after the last date of service if the notice was received
within the specified time limit and all monies have been paid up to date.
